The one picture we have of us in Mesquite.
Mesquite, NV is a city about 80 miles outside of Las Vegas. I have a friend of a friend who works there and when we had a couple of days off in a row (together!) we figured, why not check it out? The hotel room was $35. Yes, $35. We did a couple’s massage (for a total of $160) and dinner/breakfast together cost about $30—including tip.
On top of that, we played pai gow/craps/black jack/three card poker for five hours sunday night and then played poker for like 5 hours (only my second time ever actually playing in a poker room) on monday. I ended up AHEAD $138!!!
I might just have to visit Mesquite again one day soon…
