Condensed Update
Well, considering it’s been about a month since I’ve updated…and a lot has happened since then…here’s a quick rundown of the events that took place over the past month.
- Mike and I had a GREAT time in Washington and Idaho. (I will post a few pictures after this post).
- I have been settling into my new apartment quite nicely and have hung all my shelving/painting/etc, and even gone grocery shopping so that I have a fully stocked fridge.
- This past Thursday I had ACL reconstruction surgery, which is probably the number one reason why I’m getting back on the tumblr wagon—it’s going to be a couple of weeks of me sitting on my couch/bed just chilling.
Mom is here and helping me during the first few days of recovery. She leaves on Monday (unless she can get Continental to pay her to change her flight—this hurricane/tropical storm is nuts!). Mike has been very helpful as well, and is even a good sport when I yell at him.
The pain isn’t bad—thanks to the pain pills—but the pain pills make me tired and I hate being groggy and out of it. It’s frustrating that my knee can’t do the things I want it to, and I’m in this big ugly uncomy brace.
Anyway, I’ll post some pictures about all of that good stuff, but updates will be more often from here on out…
